A Chocolate Affair+ sets record

Thanks to our guests and sponsors of the 6th annual A Chocolate Affair+, 24 at-risk youth in our community of southwest North Dakota will receive a trained and caring mentor this year!

Guests at this year’s gala event on May 2nd enjoyed great live jazz music, tempting chocolate creations from eight local professional chefs, and tastes of quality wines and specialty beers. Groups of friends and couples mingled and visited while completing their People’s Choice Chef ballots. And the chocolate diamond pendant, along with five other premium gift packages, highlighted the raffle drawing.

The most successful A Chocolate Affair to date brought old and new friends of Best Friends Mentoring together at the Biesiot Activities Center, the venue for the past two years. Major sponsors included Reichert Armstrong Attorneys, Dr. Kim Brummond and Dr. Amy Oksa, Britton Jewelers, Terry & Michele Kiethley, Shirley K. Dukart, Wyoming Casing, Ladbury Funeral Service, Sax Motor Company, Steffes Corporation and Dakota Community Bank.
